What I do:

I’m responsible for setting pricing and benefits for retiree products.  I’m involved with the corresponding Federal Government regulatory filings.

How I make a difference:

I provide health care services to meet the needs of the retiree population.

I get to work with a talented and diverse group of people in different functional areas.

Staying on top of the changing regulatory environment.

How I impact my community:

I volunteer in various community activities including the school, church, and Cub Scouts. I support various charitable organizations and sponsor two children who live in poverty.

Underwriting business decisions impacts many areas of the company and has a direct impact on the company’s financial success.

What’s great about me:

I’ve been with UnitedHealth Group for 15 years.  I started in the Finance department and then moved to Underwriting.  In Underwriting, I’ve held various roles in different business segments.  I’m a good example of taking advantage of the opportunities offered by a company as large and diverse as UnitedHealth Group.

Little known fact about me:

I have both my CPA and CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certifications (my current status is inactive in both).
